Thanks Karinith, but there's only one problem. It's your corp that has war-decced the noob corp.
Anyway, I'm off to pastures new. I've passed the advice here to my old corp-mates, so maybe there won't be a corp to war-dec in a few days time.

So you guys are the ones that were smacking in local. Don't know what to say other than don't mouth off in local if you aren't capable of backing it up with some force. Hopefully it wasn't you that was being mouthy that night b/c I'd hate to have to track you down and make you say "I'm sorry".
In this game reputation matters and people don't forget. This ain't some kiddie MMORPG where you can act like a pimpled face teenage 1337 kiddie and not expect some repercussion in return. People have war dec'd for less.

reputation matters ?, would like to see some arguments or explanation at least. how does it affect on your "reputation" if someone says couple not so nice things at local.?
Why words should be backed up with force anyway? or should i say, why smacktalk should be backed up by words.
it almost looks like that you consider "smacking" to be worse thing to do than war deccing and killing ppl who cant defend themselves. which of course is an absurd idea.
Some pirates/mercs/pilots in general, seem to have this absurd idea that "if its possible by game mechanics, there is nothing wrong with it".
Eve like any society has some basic rules of moral values/honor/ethics etc.
And like in any society, there are people who dont honor these rules and general princinples.
they dont care that the whole society is based on these rules/principles, and they take advantage of the society.
now, u can do whatever u want, but dont try to make excuses for doing these things.
just simply say the real reasons "yes this is griefing, this is not honourable, this is
even lame someone might say, but we still do it"
u dont have to be that smart to realize these things.
just place what happened into real life situation.
1#person : i dont like your hat
2#person : beats the 1#person into the hospital.
thats logical, power of mind , one might add =)
